Technical Information Ultra Max WB 2 Pack Sealer (clear/coloured) Product Description: Ultra Max WB 2 Pack Sealer (clear/coloured) is a state of the art product which uses a high quality 2 component Polyurethane technology, to produces a durable protective coating with the following characteristics: - Excellent chemical & stain resistance - Excellent scratch resistance - Excellent wear resistance - Easy clean surface - Excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates - Non yellowing - Interior/exterior - UV stabilised - Can be made anti-slip with the addition of Anti-Slip Particles - Easy application - Low odour - Wash up in water This easy to apply, environmentally friendly coating is designed for interior and exterior applications. Areas of Application: - Sealer for self levelling Epoxies - Sealing concrete, factory floors, shop floors, - Ultra High quality paving paint - Drive ways, walk ways, corridors, steps, walls, balconies (waterproofed) - Timber, MDF, Particle board, Fibro, Plywood, composites and plastics (metals require a separate primer) - Add Anti-Slip Powder for a variety of Anti-Slip Surfaces Product Characteristics: Active Ingredients: 2 component waterborne Polyurethanes Gloss level: gloss Colour: clear, coloured Mixing ratio: 4 : 1 Solids content (mixed): 44 - 60% Pot life: 3 hours Touch dry: 30 – 45 mins** Recoat: 6 hours or longer with high humidity or cold conditions. Through dry: 5 – 7 days** Density: 1.09 – 1.13 Odour: slight Spread Rate: 1kg = 7.5m2 1L =8.5m2 APPLICATION Surface Preparation on concrete Surface must be clean and sound, free from oils, dust, chalk mildew and any other contaminants. If any of these are present then remove accordingly, either by scraping, sanding or power washing. Mildew must be removed with an appropriate solution. Further preparation such as, grinding, shot blasting or acid etching are essential for optimum adhesion. Mixing mixing ratio is 4 :1 by weight (4 Part A : 1 Part B) Mix Part B into Part A and stir thoroughly until the mixed product has a uniform consistency. It is recommended that a mechanical stirrer is used for this process to achieve optimum uniformity. Water may be added to reduce the viscosity, by up to 10%. Application: Roller, brush or spray For optimum result apply 2 –coats of Ultra Max WB 2 Pack Sealer Avoid low surface/air temperatures as well as high humidity as this will increase drying time and curing rate. Do not apply below 10’C or above 85% relative humidity. Ensure adequate air movement. Cleaning - Wash up in water immediately after use. COMMENTS The potlife is approximately 3 hours, will vary with weather conditions, high temperatures shorten potlife. Discard any left over mixed material after this time. Do not re-seal mixed product as pressure build up may occur.
